HEALTH REQUIREMENTS WHEN TRAVELLING FROM BULGARIA TO GERMANY

The general obligation to present a negative test, vaccination certificate or medical certificate for all persons over the age of 12, regardless of the mode of transport arriving in Germany, continues to apply.

The quarantine obligation does not apply to children under 6 years of age. For children between the ages of six and twelve who have not provided proof of recovery or vaccination, quarantine shall end five days after entry or on presentation of proof of examination before the expiry of the five days.

The obligation also applies to passengers transferring at German airports.

ORDERS CAME INTO FORCE

According to Order № RD-01-128/29.07.2022 of Regional Health Inspectorate - Varna, as of Monday, August 1st 2022, all people when they are in closed places that are accessible to citizens and/or are intended for public use, including medical institutions, pharmacies, opticians, specialized institutions for the provision of social services, etc residential type social services for children and adults, administrative institutions and other places where citizens are served or have access, commercial establishments, means of transport, rail stations, bus stations, airports are required to have a protective face mask.

We remind you that until May 1, persons arriving from other countries on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria are admitted upon presentation of a valid EU digital COVID certificate for vaccination, disease or testing or an equivalent or similar document containing the same data.
