Health requirements when travelling from Bulgaria to Germany
The general obligation to present a negative test, vaccination certificate or medical certificate for all persons over the age of 12, regardless of the mode of transport arriving in Germany, continues to apply.
The quarantine obligation does not apply to children under 6 years of age. For children between the ages of six and twelve who have not provided proof of recovery or vaccination, quarantine shall end five days after entry or on presentation of proof of examination before the expiry of the five days.
The obligation also applies to passengers transferring at German airports.

Orders came into force
According to Order № RD-01-189 / 28.04.2022 of the Minister of Health, as of Sunday, May 1st 2022, the anti-epidemic measures for entry of persons arriving from other countries on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria are repealed.
We remind you that until May 1, persons arriving from other countries on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria are admitted upon presentation of a valid EU digital COVID certificate for vaccination, disease or testing or an equivalent or similar document containing the same data.
